Oppo, what are some of your favorite drum licks?

I'm going to be sacrilegious and say one of my favorites comes from the first 5 seconds of this—wait for it— Nickelback song .

Also, since I used the Vistalite for the lede image I should include Bonham in Good Times, Bad Times

This entire song. Conviently it's also my favorite bass line.

Side of a bullet is a stolen Damageplan song, so no shame in liking it. I'd say my favorite drum track is a tie between When The Levee Breaks and Walk With Me In Hell, by Lamb of God.

Green Day - Panic Song. Not super complicated drumming, but notable for how long he keeps up that pace... also, i love how they hit that crescendo and drop into the groove about mid-way thru.

Oh man, I totally forgot about this album. Kind of the end of the good Green Day for me.

I've been flabberghasted at the percussion in the album 'The Bedlam in Goliath' by The Mars Volta.

Its insane. No Youtube links at work, but check out the song 'Wax Simulacra'.

I hear ya. Nimrod took a long time to grow on me, but its very different. American Idiot, in its own way, has also grown on me, but its like a completely different band. I own the last album (don't even recall the name) and I've listened to it maaaaaybe twice, and I don't care if I listen to it again. It's like American Idiot Redux.
